Went for brunch with a friend who had the eggs Benedict. I thought his eggs Benedict was better than the avocado toast I ordered, which was very average. We also shared the risotto ball hash, which was also pretty good. Overall I guess food was a fair 4 ⭐ even though I was underwhelmed by my avocado toast, which was fairly basic, lacking imagination and flavor. Service and atmosphere were good. Apparently there is a little “theatre” space downstairs that could host comedy shows and the like.

This isn't just a good place to eat. It's also a fun place to eat. They catered to the theater crowd and time your dinner accordingly. Many of the waiters and waitresses are Broadway actors or theatre workers. They are all very welcoming and hospitable. The food is high-quality and served very well. The dining room is very nice with lemon tablecloths and perfect lighting.

West Bank Cafe is an NYC Broadway institution. The is delicious, the atmosphere vibrant and filled with broadway celebrities. The drinks are perfectly made and the wine list is young but complimented the food. Service staff is always out to make sure your experience is a great one. Definitely a must visit place. A taste of old Broadway!
